07-03-14 Gondola again
Well the gun has been mounted to the gondola and the hydraulics are working. Now it remains to do the detail work on the gondola itself.
01-03-14 Gondola
The gun carriage has been lead-weighted and mounted in the gondola. The rear doors needed to be cut out and rebuilt. During operation these doors were open to allow an electrical cord to run out to the generator.

Back to Introduction After considerable length of time and a move to Australia, I have finally gotten back to this project. The generator is finally ready for its first coat of paint, before the final detailing is added.
